Apparently, he does, in fact, profit from it all. He makes a profit from the t-shirt sales and gets half of the profits from the iTunes downloads. He said he’s using that money to move his family into a safer neighborhood; that’s actually the reason I decided to buy the iTunes song and am even looking into buying a t-shirt.
